With a deep passion for realism, intricate patterns, and black & grey tattooing, Alex has built a reputation for crafting striking designs that merge technical excellence with artistic depth.

Alex’s artistic journey began long before tattooing. In his early years growing up in Los Angeles, he was immersed with the rich culture and started his artistic journey from the young age of eight. He was drawn to fine art, architecture and historical design. Alex’s path into the tattoo industry was one of persistence. Mostly self-taught, he spent years perfecting his craft & style at multiple different studios in LA and NYC. Through apprenticeships and mentorship with veteran artists along the way, he honed his technique.

In 2018, Alex founded Citadel Studios, a space where artistry and innovation collide. The studio embodies his vision—a sanctuary for creativity, where both clients and artists can bring their ideas to life in an environment that values craftsmanship and individuality.
